Don’t visit; I neither want nor need company

I realized today that unlike any other time in my life

I am alone.

Completely.

I refuse to turn back the hands of time 

There’s only loss & selfishness when I think of those I loved

A reminder of all that I was or could have been

I’m not looking back, though

Only looking forward
